We all know that the benefits of living in a great city like NY is that the entire city is a resource for education and offers many unique opportunities for learning. However, we as educators and many of our students for any number of reasons may not be capable of making use of those resources. With the use of technology some imagination and a little work we can bring those experiences to our students. Here is a preliminary look at a virtual field trip I am working on. The Brooklyn Museum is a great place, but some students and or school districts can't afford admission or students may not be capable of traveling from one borough to another to visit. I am working on a tour of the museum using my own digital photography to allow me to expose my students to the art.

Mission Statement
Welcome to Teachers Talking Tech!
This Blog is to serve as a place where I can express my opinions on technology in general and how it effects our children and their education in specific. My hope is that it will not only spark discussion, but that it will also serve as a resource for educators that feel they need assistance when intergrating technology into the curriculum and into their classrooms.
